ReelConnect a new site that’s an indie film narrative-only showcase and networking site. It’s kind of YouTube meets IMDB meets Facebook for filmmakers. But we’ve also got some really well made films up too from filmmakers all over the nation. What makes us different is that anyone can create their own profile and upload their film. Then in addition to having their work shown on a high quality, larger-than-average viewing area, anyone that’s worked on that film (hair and makeup, actors, writer, etc. . .) can link to it’s profile page and be featured as one of it’s filmmakers. As a result, this site helps all crew members get publicity from the films they’ve worked on, not just directors or producers.

As we continue expanding, we plan on incorporating more collaboration and networking tools and opportunities for filmmakers. We also will have online budgeting and scheduling software as well as a production search to be able to find crew and cast for future productions. We really envision ourselves becoming an online resource for any and all filmmakers looking to make a name for themselves.
